THREE HISTORIC MOMENTS
In 1229, King Jaume I conquered Mallorca. The estate was granted to the Order of the Templars.
The Oliver Moragues family acquired the house and, since 1511, has dedicated it to vine cultivation. The first vineyard was planted, and the first wines began to be produced.
In 1785, Chaplain Despuig, commissioned by the King of Spain, catalogued the most important estates of Mallorca, including Oliver Moragues one among them.
With the union of two families, the ‘Oliver Ribas de Cabrera’ and the ‘Moragues Ribas de
Pina’, the saga with the most deep roots in the vineyard and wine history of Mallorca was
consolidated at the beginning of the 20th century.
