BACK TO THE ORIGIN

We understand our winery as a living organism and we work to use all the resources that our animals, the forest, our wild plants offer us to improve the living conditions of our vineyard through biodynamic practices.

THE WINERY AS A FARM

GREEN COVERS

In October after the harvest we plant in between the rows of the vineyard three different seeds that will grow during autumm and winter. This new vegetation will oxygenate the superficial layer and it will help to build a structure for the humus layer, basic for the living of the microbiome.

ANIMALS

Our 60 hectare forests surrounding the vineyard is a refuge for our donkeys and animals but also for the birds and bads, which contribute to maintaining biodiversity and naturally control the excess of insects or diseases. Also from these animals we can use their excrements for some our biodynamic procedures.

We elaborate several biodynamic preparations throughout the year, for example nettle preparation, which we will use in our vineyard.
